Following SkyCams thread (didnt want to Jack it)

Nice mix up in that video SkyCam I enjoyed it.

I like my GoPro cam
Used it snow skiing over the last 3 seasons here in Australia.
I have the chest mount.
Last season and this one I started fitting it facing backwards which gives and interesting view.

Got a few from this season which started well but we got a heat wave and rain and its all melted, awaiting next big dump.

I go skiing every week of the season here, 1 day trip each mid week, no crowds or lift lines and get to pick the best day of the week.
A morning warm up with cam facing forward.
Was cold overnight and snow guns still running and fast under foot.

This is at Mt Buller 2 weeks ago (about 3 hours from home)

And another run facing backwards.

And a few moguls

Finding it a real challenge to get the camera steady over the hard bumps, chest mount is better than helmet but still bounces on the straps.
But over Moguls is fairly smooth.

And last week at Mt Hotham (about 4 hours from home)

And facing backwards.

Yes its Winter here.
About 25 F overnight (-4C) at resorts for the last 2 months and good but last week went to the 47 F (+5 C) range and started melting
Temps back down now but much damage done to Snow.

Spring is not far off for us.
