![]() rrElite Veteran Shelby TWP,Mi | Just wondering if the 690mm Vblade's load the head a bit more than Align,Edge or newer 690mm main's ?I used alot of the newer blade's but this is the first time trying Vblade's and they seem to load the heli quite a bit, anyone feel the same way?.

haq0901 rrVeteran Miami, FL USA | Yes, they do load the head more. Reason being they have a wood core and are much stiffer. Newer blades have a foam core and less stiff = Less Load.Ps. They sound like no other! POP galore!![]()

![]() rrElite Veteran Shelby TWP,Mi | Cool.I just wanted to be sure it wasn't me.I had a crash with some nice blade's which flew awesome but sense I repaired the heli and put the Vblade's on,I noticed it bogged alot.At first I thought it was the lipo's but watched the crash video and it wasn't close to the way it is now.Yes,they have ALOT of pop, even doing a roll lol..

![]() rrMaster Edson, Alberta, Canada | Vblades were for a long time my favourite for immediate response and pop, but as you have discovered they also are likely the most power hungry blade by far that were and are out there in small amounts....Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

![]() rrProfessor South West, Ohio | Before there were super fast servos, FBL systems, and Tareq, there were V-Blades.Their Version 2 (and subsequent ones) have a very agrresive airfoil, wider chord and higher lift vs angle of attack than any other blade then, and maybe even today.Hotshot pilots did a lot of last second stops near the ground, that would have been 1 foot under with any other blade. With all that lift comes drag, so you have to run back to low collective to revup and prevent the blades from lagging excessibly and taking out your boom.BTW, heavy handed stick banging pilots with lots of power in hand, can manage to take their boom with any blade. They are my favorite 3D blade, for my 2 1/2D flyingS

Heliguychris rrKey Veteran Perth, West Australia | The extra pop and rip, is a trade off against lesser stability, and auto performance. If you fancy yourself as a low to the ground pop and locker, and you havent tried vblades, you are missing out. Flown properly, they make the heli look a heli of a lot more powerful/grunty. And vblades are loud.........![]() ![]() Licensed (CASA) UAV operator certificate holder 1-YFOF5-01 www.helicamaerial.com.au

RappyTappy rrProfessor Traveling the USA | Have a set of V blade V2 690's on my Vigor CS. Love the way they fly. There is just something about them, the sound and feel. Getting some 690 TST's on a N9 I just bought so looking forward to trying those out.

![]() rrElite Veteran Alaska 17 years, before mississippi for 31y | I still fly them. I have 600 , 620. First set made. Real light for HC, 550 wide core, first test pair too, 690. 700, 710s. And some real old ones back in the day, yeh. I like the pop they have, if geared right and motor and batteries are good, they don't pull much more that the others, They have the sound like no other,
