Two guys backed out today(8/3)LAST MINUTE on the trip to Ircha. So we have space. I have rented a 30' RV from cruise america and we plan to
leave from Baltimore Md. on Wednesday the 10th (late evening/night) and return on Sunday. Costs will be split and i can give you summary of everything
for you to review. I am close to Penn Station so if you are using the Train, I can pick you up. Check my feedback and feel free to contact trusted
RR members that can vouch for me.
Pm for additional info. Thanks for your time.

JUST ADDED 8/6
You dont have to be from MD to go, You just have to make it here before we leave on Wednesday at 10pm. I am about 10 mins from the train station (penn station) and bus station so I can also pick you up if you are coming from out of town. We can also pick you up anywhere in between zip code 21214 and Muncie.

Sure thing. You will be responsible for any excess rv mileage (they charge .32 cent/mile X 3000 Miles X 2 roundtrip = $1920) and the gas would have to be prepaid. It might be cheaper to fly....
I will send you my paypal address IF your in.

Bump- Here is t the cost estimate!!

Cost for the trip is as follows and can be verified oline.

Rv rental 8/11 thru 8/15 = $745 ( I can supply reservation #)
Gas (1200 miles @ 10mpg= 120gallons @$4/gal)= $480
Mileage(1200miles @ .32/mile)= $384
Tax (rental tax is 11or 12%) = $105
Ircha Fee(estimate)= $50
optional Item
Golf cart (4Pass-$160;6Pass-200) =$160 (Not rented yet but will be)
Grand total $1924

Price per person
@ 7 People= $274 round to $290
@ 6 People= $320 round to $340
@ 5 People= $385 round to $400

This is the barebones price and I rounded for unforseen expenses.
We plan on taking food, drinks, a grill etc. to be self sufficient when we get to the site.

Let me know what your thoughts are and thanks for responding.

I have a 34 ft gas motorhome. going to IRCHA last year going 60-65 MPH top speed and only got 5.5 MPG. I have had two other motorhome all smaller than the one I have now and none of them were able to get 10 MPG. Good luck with your trip, I can't wait to get there this year.

5.5 MPG
WOW!! I drive a truck with a 48' flatbed, most of the time with 48-49,000 Lbs. and get alittle better than that. Most trucks now will get 7-9 miles depending on alot of other factors.

On another note, why does it cost more when more are going to split the fuel, rental, etc.?

Price per person
@ 7 People= $274 round to $390=$116
@ 6 People= $320 round to $340=$20
@ 5 People= $385 round to $400=$15

Weight factor .... hopefully with 7 person each weighing less than 130 lbs the cost should be around $290.00 USD.

Weight factor
That highly outweighs the wallet factor

I am in for this trip, if your counting on this weight factor then you obviously have a group of Cheerleaders going. Woo Hoo

Motor homes are not real aerodynamic.

Do you want the one on the top or bottom?

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

Gas motor homes like mine [42'] get about 6 to 7 mpg. Diesel get much better, b ut the cost of diesel is higher. So maybe instead of mpg we should talk about dollars per mile.
Anyway, niyot, great idea, but I'm in Florida so no go for me.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
