I think it would be pretty cool to be able to download the Smacktalk episodes in a DVD format, in an ISO file or something.

I hate watching videos on my computer so what I usually do is copy the video to my thumb drive and watch it on my big TV with my PS3.

Instead of doing that, if you guys have the time to edit the shows into a DVD style format, with a title screen and a menu selection, that would be pretty slick.
Instead of downloading the MP4 video, I would download an ISO to burn to a DVD and I could pop it into my DVD player.

What do you guys think? I think it would be a great enhancement to the series.

You CAN watch it thru your xbox 360 Download the episodes to a flash drive, then insert your flash drive into the front of the xbox and go you the "video marketplace" menu, scroll all the way to the right and select that option (not sure what its title is off the top of my head) Then from there you can select "removable storage device" and enjoy watching SMACKTALK on your big screen!!!!!!

OMG......LOL! I never knew!!

Thanks for pointing this out!!

I'm not even kidding.. I hooked up the X-Box so long ago, I totally forgot and did not know it had a USB port on the back!!

After reading your reply I walked over to it pulled it out from the unit to find out it has 3 USB ports .LOL! Very Very Funny moment for me! Thanks for the heads up!!

Not having to burn to disk will save "ME" time then finding a blank..I have more thumb drives laying around then blank DVD disks

Cheers,
Raven

ISO or RAR format would still be cool though!

DVD converter freeware

I have many of the Smacktalk episodes on DVD’s; I used the attached freeware to convert them! Never had a problem using it! Nice to have around, I pop one in the player every time I have a few free minutes.

Sorry we missed this one guys, another thing you can do is to find a way to plug your computer into your TV

I have a MacBook Pro and I plug it into my 42" TV using HDMI and watch stuff off the Internet like that.

BTW, we're thinking about releasing DVDs in the future, but they'll probably be burned and ready sort of like what Alan did back in the day with his Ultimate DVD video.

Thanks for all the support

Thanks for getting back, Bert.
For me, it isn't just about transferring the media to a format I can watch on the TV. I can copy the file to a USB thumb drive and plug it directly into my TV if I wanted to, but that isn't the point.

I'd like a DVD format for the convenience of it all.
For example, an interactive menu with a scene select so I can jump directly to the parts I want to watch again and again, or when I want to use my DVD remote to skip past certain obnoxious segments.

I'm a fan of all things tangible. I don't get any pride of ownership from having a file saved to my hard drive.
I don't necessarily want Smacktalk to distribute DVD's, just DVD format files that are ready to be burned onto DVD's.
