I really like BJ Penn. He is a true person, you can see it in his eyes when he comes out to fight. He is almost crying when he enters the ring, a true warrior. He fights from his heart and soul. When BJ is on, he is unbeatable.

For me BJ is probably my favorite fighter however he has to much natural talent for his own good. He relies on it to heavily and neglects his cardio hence his losses. If BJ had cardio I belelieve he would be almost unstoppable

Ken Shamrock was a classic, as it was proven the Gracies have no place in todays MMA not even the same game anymore. Him and old boy silva did alot for the sport, as did Matt.

What has killed BJ in the past abit was his mouth and his arrogance, while the man has skill he let his over confidence destroy him a few times, then accusing GSP of "slippery pills" cmon' that was the end of my respect for BJ seriously...

The Spider Silva, great fighter to, but when he openly can finish a fighter then proceeds to make bad antics out of the fight that is not cool either IMO.

For the record the best pound for pound fighter IMO ever to enter the sport and still dominating in regards to technical ability, discipline and overall the most respectfull individual man in the sport is George St. Pierre.

Frank Shamrock is the adopted brother of the shamrock clan. I never cared for the guy either. That being said, you can't take away the fact he was and is a tough ass fighter..Remember, kung le broke Franks right arm in san jose Ca. and Frank fought and threw punches with it! Keep in mind, it was broken in the first round by a side kick.

That was because Kung Lee was a bad ass ... more so in K1. I do believe it was proven that GSP's corner greased him just supposedly unintentionally. Yeah BJ has some issues but c'mon he is the Helo Kid and how can you not love a guy that split Diego's melon wide open and made him look like an amateur.

pauholis accused marquart of 'greasing' too, but all they did was build up a sweat backstage before they came out. good idea if your facing a grapler or bjj guy.

HUGE fan here. Been watching and following UFC news since it became a "business" when the Fertittas took over a decade ago.

Its also great to be a fan where I live. We watch all PPV events live on TV for FREE here! Only downside is that I don't feel like drinking beer at 6 a.m.!!!! Other than that, its great.

They also show event replays every other day, and UFC Wired and UFC Unleashed every day for 2-3 hours. Its great.
For the record the best pound for pound fighter IMO ever to enter the sport and still dominating in regards to technical ability, discipline and overall the most respectfull individual man in the sport is George St. Pierre.
My favorite MMA personalities are Ariel Helwani and Joe Rogan. Its too difficult for me to choose a favorite fighter because none of the top guys live in my country or city u listening Shawn??!!! lol

One guy I really like to see fight more in the UFC is Maiquel Falcao. He is suspended right now for legal issues back in Brazil but should be back in the UFC soon. He is 26-3-0 and a beast.

Regards,
G

Ps, Alistair Overeem and Fador were cut from Strikeforce. Makes u think, was the deal an acquisition or a gradual elimination of Strikeforce. Remember Pride and WEC???!!!

i certainly dont agree with all the decisions that the ufc makes either. i think joe rogan is the PIMP! that is one smart man. listen to any interview with him about anything and he is educated on it. smart guy.
