Just because a problem/issue/failure hasn't happened to you it does not mean it is fictitious

Oh by the way if people think Align quality is inferior to Century then they are expressing their own personal opinion. Me? I do not think Align is inferior and I have had and own many models since 1989

The important point here is that the op has an issue and attacking him is hugely negative as is insisting that it is 100% their fault!

This is my opinion and yes I do expect negative replies

If it ain't broke then break it.

I wont rant with a huge reply. It comes down to one of two things. Either user error, or parts error. This is a simple matter, that hopefully will be taken care of.

windy,, FBoss (as I know) and Myself are not Reps,, Paul Pan of Century himself told me, on the phone, I have no authority from Century to say I am a Field Rep,,

as for what eeeeky said, what I read there is he is telling the Topic Starter that the Product has been proven for years to be a good Product and If it failed there is a problem that caused the Failure,,
he also said "As stated before, call century" " that will most likely be taken care of for you"

the thing about this thread, and many like them, rather Century or any other brand,, is,, if a flyer happens to find a problem with their Heli and they call the Manufacture, and they "communicate" with the Manufacture about the problem maybe both the Flyer and the Manufacture will learn something new that may help improve the product

I have still been keeping an eye on this thread, but am really at a loss for words on what to say. First and foremost, I really have come to understand why a lot of people shy away from the gasser forums. I don't know any of you personally and do not know if you know one another, but why is it that almost every post starts a new or continuing argument!? THIS IS A HOBBY AND IS MEANT TO BE FUN! And forums are created to help one another learn and continue to progress in building, flying, and passing on the sport to other people who would like to fly one day. I think a lot of these topics in the gasser forums will scare prospective flyers away from the most efficient way of flying a model helicopter. It surprises me that moderators don't edit irrelevant posts to keep the bickering out.

My experience with century so far has still been positive. I didn't call them for a replacement part because I really didn't like the design of the part that failed. Besides, now mine doesnt look exactly like everybody elses. With my mods, the radikal is flying better than ever.

^ NO ONE can take away the fun of this hobby. Regardless of how rude, insensitive, experienced or how big their egos may be. Not everyone can teach nor have an ounce of grace for such...let alone patience.

Use what you need, ignore the rest "if" you can.

That said, it comes down to the common denominator...one self. Only you can control "your" emotions. Self moderation sort of speaking.

I enjoy it as it bring out GREAT information, regardless of how it was delivered.

Thanks to ALL that continue to help.

Thanks for sharing your parts failure as well. Should make others look into these potentially problematics issues.

You let others dictate your level of fun?

No I dont think I do. I just do a cost benefit analysis and determined the fun to effort ratio is way out of whack when it comes to getting good info from the Gasser guys. It ALWAYS turns into a pissing match and a mines biggernyourins. Its just not worth wading thru the crap and negative feelings. Nitro/Electric are fine by me. I guess I cant do EVERYTHING so Ill do what gives me the most fun.

Flat out, the gasser guys piss, moan and bitch like a group of babies. Its been a huge turn off for me and made this segment of the hobby plain not worth the effort. GO ask a Nirto or Electric question of any type, you may get some unwanted ego involvement but if you do it will be the EXCEPTION. Here in gasser world
ITS the RULE

Sorry for the thread theft. I will bow out now. The boom supports work fine if every thing is done right, they fail quickly if not. They could be made better. All kits need to make some choices to get into the market segment at the target price point.

RIP ROMAN
