I keep going threw the TT gears. I did have a good run where the TT gears where lasting. The last one right out of the package went out on me as I was spooling up.

Now for the TT, I put a solid CF rod in the middle, and I have gone threw a crash on each where the tail is bent, and the TT survived.

One thing to look for when installing the pinion gears in the boom is make sure they are pressed all the way in. I've seen where they strip and they were not seated. Sometimes it takes quite a bit of pressure then they pop in. There should not be much of a gap under the edge of the pinion gear and where it meets the bearings in the boom.

On this one I had to file down the center of the TT gear where the TT shaft goes in. I had it very smooth.

OK My Bad. I just replace the tail gear, and some how I put the flanged bearing in backwards. I still can not figure out how that got past me. At least the gear striped while the heli was still on the ground.

Glad you managed to pin-point the cause of the gear failure.
