Nothing beats the feeling, smell, and thrill rush from flying a nitro!! Plus you get the joy of rubbing your heli after each flight and get her looking nice and shiny xD

I own most electrics but wouldn't trade my nitros for anything!! And with the rising interest in electrics I wonder how many more house fires and accidents there have been including the mishap that unfortunately happened to one of the best (Curtis) https://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t643825p1/

Nothing beats nitro you'll be back soon just saying...

I have seen nitro helis burn too. They do need an rx pack that can short in a crash and ignite the nitro.

Life is meaningful flying helis.

I went green when I got into helis 2.5 years ago after a decade of nitro planks. It's been great! The field I fly at got electrons about the same time. Life is good!

100% Electric here for almost a year. Rave ENV, TDR, Logo 600, TRex 600E, Two Rave 450, and one TRex 250.

I will never go back. No more spending the first tank tuning every time the weather changes, and it changes a lot in Texas, and no more mess on my heli to clean, in my car to clean, and where I store my heli. Also all the shorts and shirts I messed up taking my heli out to the flight line.

All my planks are also electric.

Converted my first slimer to E Power back in 2004/2005. JR Venture
Used the "Box" gear reduction on a Hacker C50 10XL(i think?). 5S4P
TP pack.. Heavy old pig but i was hooked.. Other than a Logo or two,
i've converted everything i got my hands on since.. Stored/worked on/flew a buddies 700 Nitro for awhile but other than that been 100% E Power since..

Going electric is alright, but stay away from those Calibers.

Blessings on your head for being an electric pilot. You're saving money in the long run and enjoy more torque and horsepower. Master the battery basics and KV and gear ratios and you'll have allot of fun. After that it is plug and play every flight.
