I maidened my Radikal g20 today and all was good except my throttle servo was reving the motor on its own causing the engine to speed up and down kind of like i was quickly raising and lowering the throttle stick. i stopped because of this issue and removed the canopy and saw the throttle arm on servo moving back and forth causing the reving. does anyone know what would cause this interference? its the only servo doing it and my needles are set 1 3/8 low and 1 1/2 high. i have no noticeable vibes in the heli on the ground or at hover. i do not have the gov in the heli yet either. also the engine would sometimes die while it was doing this. any suggestions?

Swap out the servo and see if it still does it. If it does not, toss the servo in the trash. If it does continue to do it then the problem is interference from the ignition or the receiver is flaky. Swap out the receiver and see if it goes away. Do you have a resistor plug in the engine? You should.

after routing the plug wire through the opposite side by the muffler, my throttle servo does not jump around but now the muffler has started to burn the plug wire and it pushed my canopy onto my muffler and burned a hole in the side of the canopy. i tried to move the wire back to the other side but the servo started jumping again. anyone have any ideas as to why it cause my throttle servo to jump? i see most others have their plug wire routed to the throttle servo side and through the front frame why cant i?
