The carb is fine, it's only a problem when muppets get there hands on them and cant get a tune because they havn't shimed the head right or the carb sticks because they have cranked the bolts down too tight!

If that's the case consider yourself lucky because that has not been the normal mode for everyone. We all had high hopes for the TT engine, the problem is that it didn't live up to the hype until an OS carb was installed. Even the old TT team pilots were aware of the problems with this engine.

Of the four I have Not a glitch, I had one that was not as close to perfect from day to day and so the first flight of each day was tuning but that was as bad as it got for me!
When I think about it, if so many people dislike the carb and the way it tunes then it would have been wise to change it!
It would also be a clever move for somebody like KDE or Quick UK to produce an adaptor or even a complete carb, the redline is still the lightest performance 50size engine and that alone is a strong selling point when the weight difference is so great between the RL and OS55.

No problems with TT53 here;
Carburation in different, not complicated.
Read manual and it becomes easy.

I fly in a salty dry lake 150 yards from Pacific ocean, TT runs very well and endurance terrain much much better than OS and even YS.

I am sorry others had issues with it; I will buy their next version for sure.
