Too cool. That's the way it should be. I'd sign a waiver to get to go to a show like that!

One of the coolest videos I have ever seen. Incredible...Snoopy is obviously house trained

Amazing how short the main blades are. I bet the headspeed is reallllly high for a full scale heli.

We learned to fly in the B206 in Army Flight-school.

I don't think ANY of us OR our instructors got that GOOD!!!!

WOW....

It's soo easy to get into LTE with that bird, I am really surprised his tail didn't blow out in some of those turns or droop the rotor.

awesome!!! I'm showing this at work to all the other pilots now.

Check!

Looks like that was in Down Under land. I sure wouldn't want to be the guy on the ground. I wouldn't even want to be in the crowd being that close. Tremendous flying skills but a mechanical malfunction and there would be a ton of mince meat to clean up.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

The blades are normal length and speed.

You're seeing the paint lines halfway down the blade.
It looks like the tips but it's not.

Focus. You can see the actual tips almost reaching the tail

I literally never use the word literally right.

The Army used to have a helicopter demo team called the Silver Eagles. They were forced to give them up in the mid '70s because they also had the Golden Knights parachute team, a poor choice. The Silver Eagles did their whole show right in your face and always seemed to defy the laws of physics, a real treat to see.

Awesome. I'll bet those camera guys all nedded a change of shorts after that experience. Funny to see them ducking.

Times were so much simpler back then. It wasn't even that long ago. It almost seems that if society continues on this dumbed down, 'we know whats best for you' trend in mentality that someday laying around in the fetal position will be considered the only acceptable safe activity. Then we crawl back into the primodial ooze.

I saw a video kinda like that years ago... long before YouTube.

It was helicopter 'discus' throwing. The guy on the ground would hold a rope from the nose and the heli would rotate nose in about a point like the video and be 'thrown' while rotating.

I've never seen anything like that since this video... it was very similar stunt flying. That guy in the vid is good.

Futaba.. Always Imitated, Never Duplicated.

The thought of pitching the Silver Eagles for parachuting makes me ill. Some things do not translate to a crowd pleaser and parachuting is one of them for obvious reasons. I am sure the person that made that decision has long since said good bye to the military leaving a lost opportunity as a legacy.
