Governor already in there, in the CGY-750.
Well like I said before...

Plenty of room - for that setup.

But what if your setup includes a regulator and a governor too...

My setup will include a BeastX, JR RX, Gryphon regulator, Multi Gov Pro, and a Li-Po battery.
There's plenty of room for those items. You can install some items under the tray, as mentioned on the side frames on the outside, and on the inside side under the tray as well. There are people (including myself) running a regulator, separate governor, FBL, switchglo on the Fury55 which has a smaller tray.

Rock:

I had a similar list of stuff on my Fury 55 which is a similar configuration on the front as the Whippy but smaller of course. I put the regulator under the battery tray between the frames. I also put my receiver there but that would probably not work with JR. None the less - regulator under the tray, BeastX, RX and battery on the tray, Mutigov on the side frame. If you don't want all three, battery, Rx, BeastX on the face of the tray put either the RX or BeastX on the side.

It worked out very nicely on my Fury55, everthing was tidy and accessible. I am sure from the pictures that there is even more room on the Whippy.

EDIT: Puma. You type faster than I do!

I think the canopy looks nice too.

Mike & Brian:

Hmmm, can we get this canopy in a bright orange or even a fluorescent orange???

And who wants white on the bottom of a canopy - paint that orange too!

So I read that this is not the production landing gear.

Hmmmmm, can we get additional plastic molded to the bottom ala Rave ENV? Comes in great for sliding autos!

Sweet - I like it when they read my mind!

That landing gear looks like you could run a tank over it and not hurt it!

Gasser

This machine with a CGY750, a 3channel sb RX a 2 cell lipo and HV servos would be the ultimate gasser! I wonder if I can order FBL?

I wonder if the gas tank from the new JR gasser would fit? It has a gas cap for easy fill!

No,No..The other left!

At the same time, it looks taller so the recoil pull start clear the ground.

I have a feeling that a hard landing that can cause a major boom strike will break or damage the lower CF frame (specifically the CF tabs that extends out for the landing gear attachement)

The nice thing about the landing gear is that all 4 pieces are the same. If you damage one, all you have to do is change 1 piece out.

Hope there is a good strong crossmember between the landing gear struts, between the frame tabs.

Met the guys at the San Diego Fun Fly this weekend. What a great bunch of guys!

Here are pics of some of the really cool design innovations in this bird.

First Pic: Bearing blocks and a hint of the huge one-way bearing in the clutch bell and the huge pinion. The guys said that the one-way only sees 1/8th of the torque load by incorporating it with the clutch bell instead of the main gear. Sweet!

Look ma - no additional tail gear!

Tail Bellcrank - so that's why they need the smiley cutout on the right main frame! (It pivots at the top)

Torque Tube tail gear/bearing block
