Greetings! I found a nice Trex 250 clone here http://www.nacrc.com/clone-trex-250...ad-arf-p-1.html

and was wondering if my Blade SR electronics will work on it. I think the motor might be a little weak which will be fine for now at my level. I still haven't hovered nose in yet with a Collective Pitch. I'll have to get a tail servo but I see no problems using my stock SR TX with this setup. Any better suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think your idea might be more trouble that it is worth. Have you considered selling the Blade and perhaps buying a ready-to-fly 250 out of the classifieds? There are several available right now.

Your probably right Justin. I was just thinking the first time I crash my Sr I might just get a Trex 250 clone to put all the
Electronics on for the same it would cost to repair it.

I think I had a brown out this morning. I was flying my 1 week owned SR and got under the house power service and my Heli took off like a wild duck. Shot out through some trees went up high and did a nose dive a good 150 feet from me. I didn't think I was gonna wipe it out this quick. 35 flights with only a few close calls and now this. Blades, grips, boom, main gear all toast and now my ESC doesn't seem to be initializing. It beeps twice and thats it all the servos are working but not the motors. The RX light keeps blinking as well.
