I would buy two batteries and parts for the 500 to learn on it. Once I felt comfortable with the 500, I would pop the gyro off and run those same two batteries in series on the 600 (12S)

You don't have to buy new frame, just modify your existing frame. Do a search or ask people here how to mod that frame and save your money.

$24 for new frames plus the fact you pretty much have to rebuild the heli to install them. Drill four FREE holes in your existing frames and simply lower the battery tray. This is NOT rocket science. Take a close look at the picture.

I plan on doing the mod to my old frame but I wanted to try one of the fusuno frames and see how they are and for 24 bucks I thought what the heck. I now have two new 3300mah 5s lipos for my 500 bit would like to try running a 4000mah 5s lipo but would it be to heavy?
