I just install a BeastX and do the test flight. Prior to that, I had a GY520 with the gail set at -30% with my JR9503 radio. With the BeastX, I start with the gain value at -40% and it wags like the end of the world while making left or right turns. Then I lower the gain further down to -30%. The wag is gone on the left turn, but still just a little bit on the right turn. Should I further lower the gain down to -25%? Will that be too low? fyi - I am using HS6965 at 6V.

Try and lower your gain setting on your micro beast unit. Then you should be able to run higher gains on your transmitter. Also check your "Tail Dynamic" it maybe set to high.
