Just got my new 700e 3g but put a full size v-bar on it.I was running the 40c 5000 skylipo packs and wanted to buy some more but they are out of stock and been out of stock for some time now, What packs have you guys found that work and fit great in the 700e? I use thunder power packs also but don't wanna spend that much right now. If I can find something that works as good as my skylipos then ill be happy. I fly 3d so they got to hold up and have a good C rating. Thanks guys

I have four sleds made up of Turnigy Flightmax 40C 5000's.
Fit well and have held up great in my 550E.
I do not have much flight time on the 700E yet, but the few that we did fly the 12S config was great and came down cool after some hard stick banging

I have turnigy 40-50c 5000mah packs and they do fit but they are a tight fit but seem to work good so far for me.

Depends how cheap you want to go, I use Turnigy 5000 20-30C packs (around $45 each!), I too fly 3D at 1900rpm for 4.5 mins using 3600mah at the most. I have 30 cycles on them so far and no drop in performance, they are around 35 degrees C after a flight.

60% of the time, it works every time!

I have the Turnigy 5000mAH 40C and they are indeed a tight fit, but on the other hand they can't move around

I'm not sure 40C is that necessary for most fliers (inculding myself, with "mild" 3D). I think that 30C would be fine and indeed are much cheaper. Maybe I'll buy a set just to see. The 40C come down real cool. If the 30C just get warm that would still be OK.

About 70 flight in all, with about 30 on the Turnigy 40C. No problem at all.

Even my 20C's come down just barely warm after taking 3500mah in 4.5 mins! The 700E really is quite easy on the packs if using 5000mah packs.
