What are the differences between the YS61 ST and the YS 61ST-2? I just picked up an old Miniature Aircraft XLProII with a YS 61 motor that needs quite a bit of TLC.

Which transmitter switch turns off gravity?

I used a YS 61 ST for a few years till the ST2 came out. The ST ran great. Basically the difference between the ST and ST2. The ST2 had 3 needles, the ST had 2. The ST2 had needle in the carb barrel that controlled the low end. The ST had a mid range and high end needle.
Above info is taken from another site, not my words, hope it helps?

Ryan.

TMoore I had no idea which one it is; I should have been clear in my first post. DOKEY I think you nailed it. I'm comparing pics of carb throttle barrels; it looks like mine is the ST2 version.

YS engines are easily rebuildable and Rich has the parts out at YS.
