Thank you Mark for giving us a place to discuss multi-rotor models. We at MA have been hard at work creating this new brand. Rotor X is the name of this new division. All the machining of the carbon and aluminum is done right here in the U.S.

We're aware that there are several different brands of multi rotor copters out there gaining popularity, and I admit I was bitten by the multi rotor bug!In this new section we now have a place on an awesome RC helicopter forum to learn and share ideas.

Of course I want to introduce our Rotor X brand, but being an avid hobbyist I can certainly see a value in all brands and configurations of multi rotors...SO, let's chat about everything from "Do it your selfers", to Gaui,to Droidworx, to Mikrokopter, and the new and emerging brands like Rotor X!

Check out the specs here:

We have a video coming very soon of the 404! The nomenclature of the Rotor X models are actually very descriptive of their size, I.e. 404 means 40cm from motor across to motor, and 4 motors. The 706 is 70cm motor to motor, and 6 motors. We are also working on more fun sizes as well.

The "pro" version, and autonomous flight board are still under development, and at this time hasn't been determined. We should know more in a few months. Keep an eye on our website, and Facebook we will be posting there more, as it's not my intent to "spam" RR.

Yes, something like the 330x, though our carbon fiber airframe which is larger than the 330x is made in the U.S. The electronics are not made in the U.S.

Why no pics?? Our company used to announce a product that didn't exist just to test the marketability of a nonexistent product. Hope MA isn't doing this ploy.

It looks very durable. Can you choose your own motors (like some super high power motors)?
