Dear all

Through someone at work I have just picked up the above heli. I got it for a pretty good price, but as per usual I jumped before I looked.

I didnt realise how bad the parts supply is for these helis, so I wondered what you would do in my position...

I have the kit complete and untouched (not even the bags have been opened).

Should I build it (I have servos and an engine within easy reach) or should I sell the parts on an auction site online to recoup my costs, and maybe make a little profit?.... The parts I have seen look like a single crash is going to cost me more then I have paid for the kit (£90).

Would love to know your opinions, this would be my first nitro heli, though I have an electric trex 450 and esky belt cp.

Thanks in advance

James

I wouldnt recommend something with limited parts support for your first nitro. They were a neat little heli in their time though.

Part that puppy out. Trust me ... I have one Concept SR left and every time I break something (even though it isn't often) I cringe at the thought of trying to find the parts. You don't want to go down that road for your first nitro heli.

Can anyone help with the best way to do this?..

I am in the UK and a little worried that I will sell a few parts and then have no demand for the rest, and so end up out of pocket and without a heli to fly (even if it has to be ultra carefully)

Post your auction on eBay. I understand that you may have some parts laying around after the smoke clears since some parts are more readily available than others, while the other rare parts are scooped up quickly. You may want to sell the entire kit with your reserve price close to what you paid at £90.
