I got my Logo 600se in and finally finished the assembly. Took it to the field today to have a couple extra sets of eyes look it over in case I missed something and to show it off of course.
I forgot my blades but one of the guys there had a set of 693s in his truck that were unattached. I have never flown flybarless and seeings as one of the best pilots in the country was there I asked if he would show me how to bind the V-Bar and take it up for a shake out just to make sure all was right.
Pete is a great guy,he pulled out his V-Bar Control Panel ( what an excellent little item by the way} and helped me bind the Logo to my radio while giving me a quick course in V-Bar set up. He went through and set up the V-Bar explaining everything step by step. Once he felt everything was set up properly we headed out to the pad.
Pete took the heli up checking head speeds in all 3 flight modes and the operation of the Jive 80. During the flight he did a couple quick climb outs, some inverted forward and backward flying, hurricanes and a couple fast passes. He said everything felt good so of course at that point I did too.
I was amazed watching how quick this helicopter is with such a deceivingly slow looking head speed. I was very pleased to see my Logo flew as smoothly as the ones I've seen that made me want this one.
Since the blades were not mine and I haven't flown FBL before I decided to hold off on my maiden flight. I just don't want anything to happen to someone elses equipment, just a little funny that way.
The great thing is knowing the heli is fine so all I have to do is fly it. My maiden will take place on Saturday unless we happen to make our way to the field sooner.

Thanks to all the pushes, they were enough of a motivation for me to pull the trigger.
