LiFe is the current best option in my opinion.
Lipo + regulator was the ticket till LiFe came along

What is LiFe never heard of them. Do they make 4.8V packs or do I have to go six with a regulator. I would rather not use regulator just one more thing to fail. Who is a good supplier

Hey Brett LiFe packs are 6.6volts. The only way to get the 4.8volts is a reg.

GOT FBL?

They make 6.6 to 7 volts. So you will need a regulator for the gyro and or the tail servo if your other servos can handle the volts. To lower the voltage to the tail.

SG'S Reactor X/X2 is the only regulator I've used since it looks the most sophisticated? No PCB boards visible, NO NOTHIN', but the receiver outputs and servo inputs. It gives your Cyclic servos 6v or 6.8v. The receiver gets only 5.2v which is excellent! After installing it looks B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

OR!

You can dig up the older version which I think has a yellow sticker instead of red. If memory serves, THIS regulator gives out 5v which is what you're looking for.

Problem with servo that is that fast and powerful is that I cant fly fast enough to keep up with it.

If you can't do it right Don't do it!
