How many people have mounted their ESCs on top of the battery tray in the ENV? I was just watching a Radix facts video and saw that Curtis puts his there. That would really clean up my wiring and make life easier.

If you are, what ESC are you using? I'm running a Jive 80HV+ with the heatsink. I think I'm going to move mine there before I go flying today and keep an eye on the temps after I fly it to make sure it is good there. I think it will be fine, it isn't even warm when I land now with it on top of the boom block.

I used to have my ESC mounted on the battery tray. It does make it look much cleaner, and I never had any problems with overheating. I currently fly a Jive 120 on my Rave, and I mount it on the boom block. I push it hard, without a heatsink as a matter of fact, and it shows no sign of overheating. I'd say that unless you really are bothered by the looks of the ESC on the boom block, that it would be your best bet for cooling. I at first was hesitant for the looks of it in that position, but I'm glad I chose efficiency first. Either position would perform well though.

I like to mount the ESC on top of the battery tray....
Convenient, out of the way and makes for a nice wiring layout. Never had any heating issues on the CC 120.
