Just wondering if anyone needs any CNC work done? We run a woodworking facility and have 2 CNC machines. One is a 3 axis Biesse, an italain machine, we have recently purchased. It has a 5" x 4' x 12' table. I use a cad/cam program to draw and post the projects. For those of you that can draw your own projects, I can easily import several different file formats, such as DXF,STL, and 3DM just to name a few. We can also, depending on material used "nest" these files to large sheets or substrates. Aluminum and wood are mostly what we machine. We dont machine metal parts. Based on the time it takes to draw, create tool path, fixture the items to be machined and actual machining time would depend on the cost. We have been told by customers they were very suprised on how inexpensive the cost of drawing and machinine was. If someone has a drawing that is exactly what they want and is "ready for machining" (for instance a DXF file we can import that is ready-to-go.) The minimum cost is $75.00 for machining a part that takes 15-30 minutes. That does not include material cost or shipping. On more complex parts we send would send a test piece to be oked by the customer. I have been into helis for sometime now and thought we would throw this out there for anyone interested. Thanks.
