Hi all

I want to upgrade my old 600 (the one with the gunmetal green head)
to a new align flybarless head and system. However i've seen someone mentioning it's not a walk in the park:

Could someone please break it down for me, what exactly do i need ?

the guy in that link said the new swash did not fit the mainshaft ?

Will that mean that i would need a new mainshaft smaller in diameter than the current one, is it not going to fit loose in the mainframe bearings ?

And he talks about new antirotation parts that is required ?

Now if you are looking to convert your existing FB head to a FBL head... I cant help you there, but if you are looking to replace the existing head with an FBL setup...read on.

-You will need a FBL head. There are many out there that would work on the 600. Personally i'd just go with the Align FBL head with follower.
What ever you go with just make sure that it is for a 10mm main shaft.

-Next you obviously need a FBL controller. Not sure what you have or are considering, but the MicroBeast is awesome and priced right.

-If you go the MB route you will need to get the FBL ball and linkage set for your swash.

-The main shaft will fit just fine. YOu can if you want to get the shorter FBL main shaft, but IMO it's not a requirement.

-You will also need servo wheels that will allow you to bring the ball in closer. Quick UK sell some nice ones that marry up just right for microbeast use.

Thanks, I'm looking at going the align route all out, so everything align as well as the 3g system, thing is as mentioned in the previous post, a guy that tried the conversion failed to get the newer version align swash plate on the old shaft, it was to tight a fit, is there a difference in diameter between the new and old shafts, or did he just had bad luck ?

If Anyone has done the conversion of and older T-rex 600, i will appreciate your assitance !
