I'm not in my own bed. But I own the bed in the trailer and I also sleep with my wife every night.

Nothing beats home cooked meal away from home.

How many HELI's does a person take. I would hate to leave anything extra at the camp site. Fig take my best to fly, eat and sleep with.

Make a caravan

The Rebels from northern Michigan come down as a convoy and have fun
doing it. 7hours and then they make up the camp. Some years part of them are in the camper area with water and power, part are in hotels and the rest are there with tents and campers in a semi-circle complete with fire pit. It's all good and lots of fun 24/7.

Split a golf cart for the week about $160 dollars, throw up a group of EZ-UPS and you are ready to fly, snooze in a comfy chart, watch, hit the noontime demos, go the seminars, drive over to the showers during the slow periods, run up to the AMA museum, and each day someone makes an ice run. All you need is flip flops, shorts a few t-shirts because you are going to chase down a whole bunch of new t-shirts, a jacket or raincoat for just in case. A small generator can be handy if you have one. Save on bringing a ton of food, plenty of eats available and there is a good grocery and Walmart Super Center nearby and a big SAMS across town where all the hotels are located. Boys scouts kick butt for cheap breakfast sandwiches and coffee, you get one free meal at the Saturday night IRCHA feed, and Friday night there is always the food and fun at the SWARM PARTY. Dominos is on site for quick pizzas during the day. Burgs and Dogs again from Boy Scouts kitchen. Tenting along the corn is fun with a group. 5 yrs in a row and will be going again. It's like going to INDY or DISNEY, gotta doer once.

Hi guys

I made the trip in 2009.

I flew from Dubai to London to Chicago. Then I met up with my buddy George, who happened to be in the US at the time, and we drove down.

My total trip was over 24 hours, but worth it.

Regards
Paul

It would be cool if IRCHA did a longest distance traveler award. It will offset some of the traveling costs for him.

Give him a heli kit or electric motor/esc/battery setup.

In that case, we need a software that gives straight line distance between their home position to IRCHA site.
