Years ago I would fly my Blade CP with a fuse on the main motor and the tail. This way when I hit the dirt with the heli the fuse would instantly blow and save my board and parts. I was good at hitting my throttle hold but sometimes it was too late. There are micro fuses out there that are very small. Like 1/3 the size of a TiC-Tac. I learned all about the fuse and what size it should be from an electronics expert that was here on Runryder. The fuse we were using on the Blade CP was a mini fuse from a car in a fuse holder. Maybe it would be something to look into on these MCPX's. I don't feel the tail would matter on this heli but I know the main motor could toast a board.
