I have owned my rappy since Feb 09 and have only truly crashed it once. My 450 was heavily traumatized in spring 09 while trying to button down my invert. It only saw one minor air/ground incident last year. Constantly pushing the envelope is unnecessary unless you just have to be the next 3D champ. It is a good idea to push a bit past the comfort level though, helps with confidence. My pushes are small and to a casual observer they may not notice it but most flights I'll go just a hair past my comfort level. I am not in a hurry because I have actually already achieved my initial goal of learning how to fly an RC helicopter. Anything I learn past that is just gravy.
