The Kasama auto hub uses the Tsubaki Cam Clutch and Kasama parts you can get in the US.

My sprag also started to slip on my Nitro Aurora and after changing it to the Kasama / Tsubaki all is well

Unfortunately the factory sprague is hit and miss. Some work great and some have problems slipping. I waited to put tsubaki (had already ordered it) in my electric since I had one in my nitro and got bored waiting for it to slip and eventually just put tsubkai in since I had it but stock bearing never slipped once. One in my nitro went full season and a half before showed signs of slipping so I replaced it with tsubaki and never had a problem again. Have seem others slip on early flights. Think its the company Avant is getting bearings from probably not putting enough grease in some of them and they wind up glazing faster on some. You can get the tsubaki bearing from kasama without the hub for around $65

I had an Aurora from the very first batch (for about 2 years) and have since seen people get them from more recent kits and the sprague bearing hasn't changed. I had it slip after about 10 flights and I've even seen it slip after only a couple of flights from new.

From my kit, the sprague grease had the incorrect viscosity which prevented the sprague from caming against the case properly. I switched to ATF (low viscosity) early on and the problem for me disappear (I was lucky). ATF is obviously not ideal in a non sealed case, so regular re-greasing was required.

If you compare it to the Tsubaki or to a stock 700 oneway it was fewer cams, IMHO it's a poor oneway choice for it's application.

My kit was one of the first batches, the one way slipped so i relube with ATF and it has not slipped for 3 years.

But if you don't catch the slipping fast enough the bearing cams will be damaged beyond repair, you like me were lucky. ATF is not ideal in a non sealed case...it's a work around.

IMHO a kit at this level should not have a fundamental issue like a faulty sprague bearing, that is a core part.
