The battery on the bottom is something seen in older electric heli's.Once there was a better understanding of heli's layouts,it was found that a higher c of g was the way to go for quick roll and flip rate[quote]

Regards.

Danny.

With the battery sitting on the bottom tray, the helicopter tended to flip forward and backward as if it got no load on it" when it sit on the battery mount the helicopter flip forward very easy than it does backward,

if you are going to crash nose down then you got a problem with
the pack on the bottom tray.

this is my finding. The helicopter is not perfectly balance with the battery sit on the battery mount and the pack is much safer there

on the bottom the heli is balance but the pack is not safe,
if you got a canopy you are a little ok'

i don't use canopy as i only crash only once or twice a month,

I was waiting on some honey but there aren't no Queen bee,
