whats happening about a new gasser?

Did you design the gasser version?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes. Bobby and I have been working on all 3. They will all share the same head and tail systems.

Is the design for Zenoah PUH or RC versions or both?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We're testing the Zenoah RC format first. The RC motors seem to be the smoothest and most reliable choice for a machine this size.

I'm looking at the nitro pics and notice theres a hex coupler or adapter used to start the engine.

Can a MA Pro-flex starter wand (#4864)be used or the hex coupler has to be there as it serves another function to hold the clutch/pilot shaft in place?

Hey guys... just got back from Toledo late last night and the response to Whiplash was overwhelmingly positive (as was the response to the new RotorX line-up). I have a bunch of very high-res photos I'll try and get posted in the next day or two so everyone can see all of the unique features on Whiplash. It's one BADA$$ heli for sure.

777er - engine starts with a standard hex adapter. No more need for a pro-flex system (same for the F55).

The tail servo appears to be well concealed - should be a bit more protected from exhaust residue.

Canopy Mounts

I noticed there wasnt any canopy mounts on the pics. How is the canopy going to be mounted and is it with brakaway tabs?

I would like to see some pics with the canopy on. Not the CAD drawings

Ya worried about the canopy mounts now?

I think the canopy is still under tweaking stages in regards to the exact shape and mounting for the production models.

Just wait...good things come to those who wait...
