Do you guys have a good amount of play in the bearing on your swash?
I see quite a bit of movement and feel it would probably fly better without the play. Basically if I wiggle the blades I can see the inner swash move- tilt and or up and down while the outer stays stationary. It appears it may be my bearing or the fit of the inner into the bearing.

The play that I see seems to come from the linear servo and link on the servo.

Some play at the swash, but more there from what I can see.

I'm waiting for a chinese aluminum upgrade swash to come out!

ca and a pin- put a few small drops of ca on the underside at the bearing- took out 1/2 the slop.

good find. I'm not breaking the elevator ball, but instead, I've broken two balls off the swash (to the blade grips) and have had to replace my swash. I was lucky to find a heli shop that had swashes in stock. They're $15 CDN so $25 for cnc is a good price as far as I'm concerned.

Hey guys,

I read somewhere that if you put a bend on the elevator rod the swashplate ball doesn't break.

Has anybody tried it?

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.
