Agreed!

Except the original Ion was 8000 on 10S or 6000 if one wanted to be extra light...too bad the batts were so bad(and expensive) back then. The Ion was ahead of it's time! I believe it's still the best flying heli I've flown to date.

i personally hope its not 800mm....thats just to big impo
Have you seen the Rave frames & canopy in person? They're huge! 800mm would bring it back into proportion.

Thing is its 9mm spindle might not be over engineered enough for 800mm like the Logo Xxtreme has a 12mm spindle.

Can i fit my stick packs in it?

Stick packs not a prob. In fact Curtis & Nick tape their 5000mAh packs end to end as sticks which they slide in their ENVs & secure with 2 velcro straps.

Hopefully the Ballistic isn't too far away as just bought a bunch of TP 65C 5000mAh packs for it! Using them in my ENV in the meantime but weighs it down.

Are the 65C heaps better in terms of power? I had the G3 35C the VPLUS 30C popped better than them and lower IR. My 65C TP are due in next week.

They seem to have really good power, limited of course by the motor/ESC combo. Charging today I saw the IR at .04-.08 for all 12 cells...2 X 5000 6S. It's the lowest I've ever seen in any batteries.
The first charge of the day, off storage is .08-1.2 on all the cells,
but it seems like charging the second time it drops.

Tail boom doesn't look long enough for 800mm blades?
Man, I was hoping it would be!

You can't tell nothing from that pic and no offense to Curtis, but with his installations you can't exactly see the frames good. I know, I know he tests all the time, but I saw a old Vigor of his once that I PROMISE had no less than 100 rubber bands on electronics. It was hilarious.

Check out the Radix 690-710 blades(that's as big as the Radix come now) in the pic. There isn't enough room to the tail blades for another 100mm on the mains. Of course he might still offer an extended boom and TT...

I really like the way the servos are mounted but it looks like the battery has to be WAY far forward to keep it balanced... don't really like that.

Might just look farther forward, it dosen't have the radio tray up front that the ENV does.. Looks about like where my pack sits on my Rave EV. Not sure on the blade length, he tests new stuff all the time.

A logo has a pack down the belly and a Furion 6 has two packs one on top of the other. Those are totally different designs.

I like the tray down the belly.

I just meant it was zoomed out enough not to show specifics and that is what I want to see is all. I can't quite make out how high or how far forward the motor is and the servo layout. That is what I want to see.

Direct swash control???? If so then Me Likey!!!!! Battery down belly and direct swash control. Business is picking up then. That is just what I want.

I would think this wouldn't take long to do since there is no head change or tail change. No need to.
