2pac,

If I'm not mistaken, it looks like the same case(Curtis case) I used when I went home. I just have two helis instead of one in it. And to do that you have to take the boom off from the heli so you can mount the two helis face to face at each other. You can go to Hobby Lobby for foams to insulate it. The case do have locks (3) but when I got home I found out that US custom had to open the case for inspections. Nothing was missing but they left a note in the case to let me know that they did open the case. They probably have a master key to open those cheap kind of locks. I have a stronger lock in one of our luggage and they did cut those off to inspect it. Again there was nothing missing. Safe naman but I think you can post a value for it so you can get insurance thru the airline. Not sure about that info but you might want to check it online on their website. Pinoy.

Useful informations...Thanks Pinoy. What site you can get the case? Is that available in any Hobby store?..Like what i said I dont need 2 nitro heli's since am gonna leave it behind anyway. I still have some relatives that will keep the heli for me until I get back. I still have a few heli here so one or two wont be missed. If i can get a hold of those case before the middle of next month that would be great, flying out of here the 19th with an open return flight. Balot na yong trex ko so thats ready to go same as my TX. just the nitro heli is not. Went through my check off list to make sure am supported that way i dont have to visit lil's often...I hope not anyway...

Curtis Case.. Go to the main page and it should give you options on things that he sells in that website including the curtis case.
http://www.curtisyoungblood.com/

BTW, don't forget your starter, glow igniter, an extra igniter, fuel pump and extra glow plugs. Metric wrenches and those things that you might need to take the fan off your motor to change bearings in your motor if you have to. Extra bearings would be a good idea to have. I had to replace the back bearing of my YS 90 when I was there and I'm glad I took my tools with me. Any special tools that you normally use for your heli that you think you wont get a hold of when you're there would be a good thing to pack with you. Enjoy the trip man and If you haven't been there for a while you'll be suprise how much the place changed. The MRT along EDSA similar to LRT in JP Rizal Ave. that takes you from SM North EDSA to Baclaran. It's very convinient to travel if you're not sure about driving around there. Lil's have plenty of fuel but you have to call them ahead of time so they can bring it to the store for you. Ingat and have fun...Pinoy/Andy P.

Wala pre, Could not find it. All the tools i need is all in pack. Check off list complete. Yon nga lang case for the heli kailangan ko..I browse all over but no luck. I might just go ahead and diassemble it and place in a box. My luggage really not that much, a few clothes and my helis thats it. Not bringing anything for pasalubong since everything that you buy here is made in China anyway. Just like back home all you see is made in China. Cant find a made in USA anymore ohh I take that back, my baseball hat is made in Florida.....
I go home every other year but never really stay in the City. I try to stay away from it as much as possible. I went FEU for 2 years and kutong bar/night clubs tsaka kabaret me noon. Those crazy times has gone pass pre, I'm still capable of doing it but people change, Now am just enjoying my retirement. Pag umuwi ako most of my time spent near the Ocean to where simoy ng hanging is fresh, easy way of life is great and pulutan is sariwa na marami pa.

I purchased mine at Amazon.com, under Golf Cases (I believe $169 or 179 with free shipping). It will fit two 90 size heli but you have to disassemble both boom assembly.

Try Rick's RC. They have an add on the main page of RR. Nathan at Rick's should be ble to help you and if they don't have it there he might be able to tell you where to order it. Goodluck man and you're right, masarap yung sariwang hangin at pulutan. I'm from Obando Bulacan and the're plenty of palaisdaan sa lugar namin. Sariwang sugpo, bangus, tilapia at San Miguel. Ayan, naguton tuloy ako, gusto ko tuloy umuwi ulit. Galing kami doon last May till June 2006 and it was a blast. Pinoy/Andy P.

2pac,
I saw the pic on your post. Is that a soft case bag? If it is a soft case bag make sure you get it marked "Fragile" so they wont toss it around like crazy. The case that I was telling you about is a hard case giving plenty of protection for your heli. Goodluck and have fun in Manila...Pinoy...

Pinoy,
Thank you sir. Yes it is soft case pero heavy padded all around the heli and the blade side pocket. Somebody told me that it is a trumpet case or somekind of instrument thats why its padded like this. bought it at ukay-ukay here for 20 bucks. I will however place a "Fragile" sign just in case. 4 Days and counting..Getting anxious and excited. I wont make it to the e-heli but hoping to stay long so i can make it at Hirobo cup in Cebu. The only thing i am not happy with this trip is the campaigning candidates sigurado kong traffic sa Manila is heavy again..

2pac,
Tell the person at the airport counter to place a red fragile sticker on your package. I'm pretty sure it's free but nevertheless if it cost a few bucks better to just pay for it for safety. Pinoy..

2pac,

Go to Lil's Hobby Shop in Makati. They have 10% to 30% Nitro fuel. That's where I got mine last year.

Mga Pre...back in reality...WOW... Philippines is great, loved it kaya lang malala na ang politics. I have to deal with traffic, people and candidates. Almost had an accident when i went to visit my DAD's native province Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. I never thought traveling at night is a lot of risk. Those motor vehicles na walang tail light ay naglipana. Sana naman those guys think safety. From Laoag to Zambales to Dumaguete same scenario on the road. Sana may pagbabago, Over all had a great time..

Pinoy,
pre i had my helper pick up 3 gal's. of CP at Lil's kasi I have to fly to Negros OR. the very next day na dumating ako. I only used up a gal dahil most of my time spent kung hindi lasing is in business transactions. I left my heli's behind along with the 2 gal of fuel for future use, yong fuel hindi kaya masisira yon? It will be in the next 2 years again bago ako makabalik.
