Chris,

Just watched the video. WOW, that is moving a ton in FF. I'll have an answer to this very soon.

Can you post your screen shots of the Autopilot and FBL settings I'm just curious.

For the time being try doing the rotate the GPS fix that Brian did.

Thanks for the video.

looking at the video, your hover is extremely loose in auto. I think a low setting on LFG (low freq. gain) is to blame.
try upping the lfg a few points i.e if its at 0.6, go to 0.8 or 0.9 on the aileron axis only. I bet that will help.

There was a 7 to 10 MPH 90 degree crosswind blowing left to right. Is a meter of drift not acceptable?
For the time being try doing the rotate the GPS fix that Brian did.
Here is a video of the temporary fix:

mine holds rock solid in any crosswind, no drifting at all. I can rotate 360 degrees with a stiff wind and it moves a few feet at most.

Not bragging or trying to start anything. Just letting you know your tuning seems to be a little off.

This thing is already flying light years ahead of the XP3.1.
If it can be made even better than the way its set up now all info is welcome. Post your latest settings if you can.

Chris,

What are your settings in that video?

It does not look like the heli is holding position very well in hover at all.

yes, your sliding/drifting alot on the aileron axis. YOu can try smaller increments up to that, but I would just set it to 1.0 and give it a run right off the bat.

Should have a solution very soon.

So far from my talks with DJI direct it seems that the rotation of the swash for FBL has a bug in it. It obviously works in manual mode but when going to Auto mode the setting is not carrying over.

I will post some more updates as soon as they are available. A quick online firmware upgrade will solve this it looks like.

Is that going to be the same firmware update that's adding 3 axis stabilization? Or is that a pipe-dream? Thanks Robert!

I know Pan is not a easy task to do.

Colin, I don't pretend to know anything but is it possible that you have the Ace One setup for a Type 1 heli?

That might explain a 45 degree reaction to the stick movement.

Question for all those with an AceOne:

In any of the Auto modes, how fast can you climb? My rig climbs pretty slow, even with almost full up collective.
BUT, if I go to full up on the collective stick, it will jump up really fast for a split second, which I know puts strain on the gears. I have learned not to increase collective above the last tick mark on my tx.

Just wondering, do you guys have a fast climb?
