More specifically, where can I find an unpainted .60-.90 size Bell 222? All of the links provided on the century website don't warrant anything useful. Thanks!

Here ya go. Heli-World website for the century 60 size Bell 222 They have it in 2 different color schemes. Don't know about the unpainted version, but you can just give them a call and ask.

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

These people have the unpainted 60/90 size Bell 222 unpainted. Easy to deal with reasonable shipping charges.

In the description it says "semi-scale"...What exactly is "semi-scale" about it? Is it unproportional or something?

Reason I'm asking is that I'm also looking at the Vario Bell 230 and it doesn't have the "semi-scale" caveat, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra $400 price tag.

Thoughts?

Semi scale seems to mean its sports scale or stand off scale.
mean pretty much the same thing. Looks enough like the real thing be enjoyable without going over the top with super detail.
Vario dont come super detailed either they give you the option of adding as much detailing as you either want or have the patience to put on it.
Hope this explanation helps.

I have seen the Funkey's Fuse, even held the 500E in my hands and paint and detail are fantastic, my friend has the 222,, I suggest "no-matter where you buy it" you buy one painted if you like Funkey's paint offerings, Funkey paint's thousands of them and I don't think you could do as well unless you are a great painter yourself

Thanks Boyd and Emile,
We are thankfully safe, I have just arrived home from working in the CBD where the damage is most severe, makes me want to cry seeing our beautiful city in ruins.
