hey can anyone tell me what could be the reason when i spool the heli up it goes to a high rpm and then when come up to hover the heli come back down to the correct rpm setting that i set in the gov headspeed menu on the vbar software. what curves in the radio that i should be using and do the endpoints in the vbar software in gov 2 tab have to be 100/100 for high and low point?

cheers

Jeremy, if you provide your v-bar file and give me more details on your heli I and many others will be able to help you. Also provide your TX throttle curve etc.

Also check your minimum throttle %age in the expert menu on the main window is low enough.

There is a few more things, Check the event log, it will tell you things, for sample;

Governor is on or off
Governor is at low limit (% min throttle)
Governor is not getting a signal from sensor

etc, that can help a lot so look at the event log or post a copy of it.

everybody is probably getting tired of hearing me say this, but if you have the backplate sensor, it can cause this. My 700 did exactly this. I spaced it out 2 mm and the problem was gone.

If it's the case which Sandtrx saying with the spacing of the sensor, you should get a bunch of sensor errors in the event log as well.

Hard to tell what's going on without the log file. Is there a reason you have the runup speed limit set to 14?
