Gee, it hovers. I guess inside a warehouse full of crates and boxes isn't the ideal place to demo a 700-sized heli.

It that an Align creation, or has someone just put together a heli using Align parts and custom work to mount a turbine?

Yeah, they sure ARE cool! Let's see, how do I justify that, hmm. The fuel is cheaper, but the crash cost, ouch! That would really hurt.

I like the on board generator and charger. Of course, the sound is really invigorating. One question I have is how the clutch is engaged, centrifugal or switch operated off the TX somehow?

I'm inclined to believe the head speed is ridiculously high on that bird. And something really needs done with the canopy.

Is it me or is the motor plate bent on heli from raptorgary?

Turbines...they just sound too cool.

He says it's 8.7kg. That's 19 pounds. At that weight, I would think hovering is about all it is capable of.

It's the main difference between a Bell 47 and an OH-6.
