I had a mini titan when they first came out, sold it when lost job! I loved the machine flew great, no problems.

Want to purchase another E325 V1, is the parts support good?

Thank You

Charles

Yes, parts support for all electrics are good. Go to Tower Hobbies website. They should have everything. For how long, is anyones guess.

I had the kit that included the motor and speed control, should I consider other motor and speed control options?

That boils down to personal preference. I bought the standard V1 kit and put a scorpion 2221-8 motor in it and a castle ice 50 esc. I love this set up (I have it in a T-Rex 450 as well) but there are so many combinations out there to choose from. I read right off the bat on the forums that the stock TT OBL motor and ESC weren't the best and subject to alot of heat issues. That was enough to cause me to look elsewhere for something else. The beauty about the V1 is there is plenty of room for placement of the ESC and Rx, unlike the T-Rex. So, no matter which way you go installation will be easy and you don't have to engineer something.

I have the mini titan se. The motor is better than in the original version. It uses the same esc and I'm satisfied with that. If you can afford it, get the se or the se2 version.

Man, I miss the eighties.

Ordered the standard V1 kit with motor and esc!

I used T-Rex ball links on the previous build, should I do the same again!

What blades are people using? I had the MAH blades that were tapered, can you still purchase these?

Thanks

I fly the 325mm NEXT-D CY Main blades on mine. Very crisps flights, while maintaining a very stable flight.

Oh, I have crashed with these blades many times as well, and they just take a licking, and keep on .....

The FRP canopy by itself is really nice. I have the blue one. I don't think it needs anything else on it IMHO

Received the mini titan kit today with stock motor and speed control, battery recommendations?

Last build I used Thunder Power 3S 2100 with good reliable performance!

Lipo's

Batterys have really improved over the last while, and also have come down in price. I use cheap "Rhino" 2250mah 25C Zippy batteries that I bought from Hobby King. They were $14 each. They have been great so far with at least 50 cycles on them. There is plenty of room under the canopy for larger batteries, but then you get into centre of gravity issues as well. With these batteries I get 7mins of easy circuits, never having under 3.75 volts per cell.
