Just thought I would see who if anyone besides myself was into the cowboy scene.
I have been a pro bull rider for around 10 years now, and a horse trainer for around 12 and I haven't met one in all that time that was also into RC.

A few pics and vids of with some horses and bulls to look at.

Yeah ain't nothin like it.
I go on long night rides sometimes in the summer, and out in the middle of huge moon lit open fields you can hear the earth breath beneath you out there. Makes one feel real alive.

Know exactly what you mean, I have a Ipod shuffle I use as well.
I was thinking about rigging that thing into my hat so I can just have earphone drop downs on the fly. haha
Maybe I should try listening to some metal while riding a bull to, nothing would feel more beast!

Actually I haven't been there, but one day I just may.
I live on the east coast, here in VA, so I mostly stay around the eastern sea board and as far as midwest occasionally.
I hope to make touring pro this year, at it spans all over the place.

Most bull riders and horse trainers do one or the other.
I am one of only two that I know of in the area that does both, so its a tough schedule for me really.
Never know from one day to the next where I will be when it calls for rolling out.

Haha, yeah I hear this topic all to often with horse people in general.
We all laugh about how true it is, then at the end of the day they pay me anyways.
So you see, it all really depends on what side of the horse world your in whether or not its an expensive hobby/tax right off, or an investment.
I can't afford a lot of horses, as I only have 3 to deal with thats my own burden really, and one is my girl friend's barrel horse I just bought her this year.
She makes money with her though, and enough to pay for herself and then some its looking like.
But the final remedy of the situation to satisfy my needs with the hobby portion of it, I just make it my job and get to tool around with 40+ different horses within each week. I know them better than their owners and I don't have to pay a thing.
And whats even better is I have the real satisfaction alone when they roll into the show ring and win at no charge to me.

Awesome horse this one> He will go anywhere and do anything.

And this is (Misty's BonJovi) "Misty", the bay and white paint mare I recently bought her to run barrels this year with.

Ha, sweet deal you have going on there. I dig your rig to, would love to get a nice LQ trailer at some point.
And no doubt, girls and horses go hand in hand. I feel sorry for people who don't realize this. ha
And about the horse breaking, you have no idea how much flack I have caught over that video. I thought I was going to have to beat PETA up over it. lol
Heres the thing though... This video was a spontaneous thing.
I was sort of in a rush and a half talk bet of how quick I could break my uncles horse that had almost no human interaction.
Being pride in question, I took it on and just simply got it done as fast as possible. She wasn't much of a bucker as you can see anyhow.
She was good bread however, with Doc Bar lines, but she was never registered and was already 4 years old.
In most all other breaks I do, I take my time and I have indoor arenas and round pens to work with.
I have been training and breaking horses since I was 8 and work for the 3 largest name trainers in my area here in VA, including "Garland Quarter Horses and Paints" and brother trainer to world famous Arabian trainer Tommy Garland Jr.
Not demonstrated very well with what you seen in the video above, granted.
I am going to make a video soon of just how well my actual methods work just because of all the fuss.

But in regards to a quick retake on the video I posted, here is one I made of her after just the 3 time my girl friend and I worked with her like usual.

Anyhow what methods do you use?
