I have been thinking about picking up another 50 ..
who is selling the kits? how hard is it to get parts now?
I really liked the x50 i had but getting parts was never fun..
had to get them from Canada took along time and shipping was way to much.....

There is 1 US dealer for the complete RJX line, they stock most of the parts and delivery times are good. Ask around or do a search for http://olivershobbies.ecrater.com/ They have a pretty good reputation so far. Kit prices are pretty low also.

i wouldn,t worry too much about the availability of parts from RJX.
there are many more models on the production line from RJX so there going to be around for some time yet.

Yes, the head uses an 8mm spindle now with 3mm flybar, several of the parts are now the same as the 90 like the tail drive parts at the main frame and at the tail case. The new canopy is pretty nice looking. The older 2008 model uses a 6mm spindle and it is getting hard to find parts for the 6mm hub, the seesaw and main head bearings are getting extinct. I am going to have to update mine before too long.

Kinda like the ol saying, if it ain't broke don't fix it....they kept the main importance of the already well built heli and simply changed out cosmetic stuff

I am pretty sure it has not gone through any real changes, it was pretty good from the start. The tail from the new X800 is an upgrade to the 90 part, just a better designed tail hub and the canopy and on the gasser, the pipe. I do know the G90 is getting looked at for the clutch and fan, since they are designed for the 16K rpm nitro engine and the gasser engine turns half that. I cant wait for the new X-tron 500, the layout looks clean and nice, I shouldnt even be looking at it though, I have too many heli's now and no time to fly.
