the other day i ordered some equipment from range video and my order has been in limbo ever since, it was ordered on the 11th of Feb. when i asked if there was a problem on the 16th, I was told that payment had just cleared on the 16th and it would be shipped out the next day, well here it is 3 days later and it still has not shipped.
i have had no problems with any of the other web stores I buy from, in fact one readymade rc will have stuff to me buy the 3rd or 4th day, even if i order on a Friday. but this is the first time I have bought from range video, and while email response is good i still don't have my stuff, and to make matters more interesting the same day i checked via email i got a email from them telling me my other order was processing? ? what other order, i didn't order anything elsewell i checked and no money had been taken from my paypal acct., and it seemed this order was going to Inda, not to me. anyway, so i emailed them and asked hey WTF is up here, they said it was a database glitch, and to ignore it, but the order is still listed on my account with them 3 days later.
i went in and removed the other persons info from my address book and changed my password in there database my self, but it is still listed as my order but shipping to Inda, although it has not shipped yet. and to top it all off my order is still listed as processing, not shipped.
has anyone else dealt with these jokers and if so how did it work out for you. I plan to try and get a refund on Monday if it still has not shipped, but I doubt I will be able to do so, I think my money is gone and I won't get what I ordered
please tell me what you think of this, and any experiences you have had, good or bad

My company spends thousands of dollars purchasing video transmitters and receivers through Range Video. We are probably his best customer for 2.4Ghz video stuff. I would say we have bought over 100 transmitters from Range Video. No issues on their part. There was a period last year when Lawmate ceased production on the 1W transmitters, but Vova worked hard to get them coming as soon as production was up again.

thank you ErichF for your input. i am relived to here good things, as i said have not dealt with them before, it sounds like what i am seeing here is an aberration, and that is good news. as i said the email response has been good, i just have not seen any activity on the site to reflect what vova told me.
i will let it ride for a few more days and see what happens, as we all know sometimes weird things can happen with computers. i like the prices and was hoping to do more business with them so i am happy to here what you have said, i feel a lot better now after hearing how much you have worked with them.
i would like to here from others about good experiences they have had as well.
it sounds from your reply that i have misjudged them.
i will give it another week and see if it works out, the initial delay was apparently due to paypal on there end not releasing funds for 6 days after they pulled it out of my acct, which was not surprising paypal can be a real pain, frankly the database thing had me more concerned the email about other items came in with different shipping then me, and that was when i started to worry.
the last time i had something happen and i didn't get my order was with tiny bright lights last year, and that worked out in the end, it turned out they had water leeks that crashed the computers that week and they needed people to call because they lost a big part of there database, however i had also ordered with them a lot before that so i didn't worry
hopefully i will get my stuff with out any other mix ups. if all goes well i will post it and let all know it worked out and wright a good review on them.

Like Erich I used to buy systems (cams and 2.4 and 900m Rx / Tx) from Vova for some years.
Lost count of how many.
Only ceased because video senders are redundant in my cam mounts and use WiFi instead now.
But always got what I ordered from RV, all sent to Australia.

well it seems i owe range video an apology, the database glitch has been fixed and my equipment has been shipped. paypal is still no my S list but that "is what it is" it took longer then it should have to get all this done but as far as i can tell at this time it was not the fault of range video. it seems that a series of weird problems all popped up at the same time and caused a lot of trouble, i always worry the first time i order from a new place online, and Murphy showed up and did his worst, but it has worked out in the end, thank you to those of you that had good things to say about range video, you where right about them i am glad i listened to you
be well and thanks for posting on runryder, i am glad you where there.

Awesome, great to hear it and thanks for the follow-up. It's not often we ever get to see the epilogue to these stories, positive or not.

Thumbs up for RangeVideo

I'd like to echo what Erich says: RangeVideo has always been great to work with. We've also bought thousands of $$$ worth of equipment from him. It ships very quickly and seems to work all the time.
Good luck and good flying to you all.

hi s Dave,
thanks for the good input, actualy i am going to give them 2 thumbs up for how they worked to get everything sorted out for me. i have since received my equipment and it is working perfectly. as i posted above i had misjudged them due to some really strange events that all occurred at the same time. they have gotten everything to me and all is well, i am glad to here so many good things about them, that was so good to here when i did not know what was happening with my order i think we all have been or will be burned ordering online at some time, so it is good to here that a company has lots of happy and loyal customers. i will buy from them again, that was my first experience, and it was very reasuring to here from everyone on run ryder about what a good company it is and how well they where treated while dealing with them. it made me feel very secure that i was not being ripped off
thanks again everone
