I read in manual it turns off below 35 and on above 35% throttle... so once 36% throttle is reached will it want to increase the head speed to 1800 as I programmed it on the governor?

but ok I have my governor set in normal multimode... so it treats my positive value (normal ATV for aux2 which is my normal mode function) in active mode which means just as a limiter? so no matter what throttle input I give to 100% as soon as it reached 1800RPM it wont increase?

If you have it in Rev Limit mode, then you won't notice any difference

thats what I think active mode means in multimode... ok thanks... thats what I wanted to hear... so no matter what throttle input I give from 0 to 100% in normal mode as soon as it reached 1800RPM it wont increase?

Switch...even though you install a governor to control the head speed, setting up decent throttle curves in your radio is a must.

First and foremost, if something goes wrong (your magnet flies off, the sensor croaks, or something goes wrong with the governor guts for example) most governors will drop out of controlling the throttle altogether. Having a reasonable throttle curve to fall back on as a fail-safe is pretty much mandatory. I'm sure you wouldn't want your throttle to drop back to zero when you're six inches off the ground, inverted, when the magnet gets tossed...

As a bonus, when you do set up decent throttle curves, that big jump you're expecting to see doesn't really materialize when you hit the switch, or go past the "arm" zone in either direction.
