no speck at mo just photos unless anyone else can tell more?

Is interesting to note then the first red and black heat, this code Speed 91HZ-R special black and red 3D F3C special, heat shape after the first modification, the crankcase through the Black body treatment, the visual look murderous steaming!
Both equally with the DRS system, different places is more than an aluminum F3C version of the system of needle control arm, it looks very delicate.

Both engines also have cruise control back cover mounting hole, in the past the idea that 3D only need to install cruise control, now it is even encouraged F3C are installed cruise control, allowing more accurate stunts done.

Look atthe engine back plate cover, more than a hole, this thing is to be installed GY701/CGY750 upcoming speed sensor, crankshaft sensor directly to the speed, can save the trouble of adhesive magnets.

Very Nice but how are they going to compete with Y120 and kde 110 hitting the market this year. I'm assuming OS is working a bigger size too.

.91 is the largest engine displacement allowed in competition the last time I checked, so the larger engines are not a concern in that area.

Isn't that a pressure tap in the backplate?

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

WHat the hell is cruise control? Another piece of electronics like the governor? Maybe that is what you call the governor.

FAI

I think there are some serious mistakes being made by FAI.I think any competition, should be about the PILOT, not the ELECTRONICS. Its all getting too expensive with the GEE WHIZ this, and the GEE WHIZ that, and there does not seem to be an end in site. Next, everyone will want GPS on there competition machine. After that, it will be flying from your laptop inside your airconditioned van!!!!

Cruise control is the gov or geared up for the gov sensor that is comming from futaba the new OS 55HZ-R back plate is the same with this sensor holder in the back plate
as for the 2 above engines looks like its just a paint make over with a diffent head the head is sim to the omi viper head design really just with one glow plug rather than 2

as for the FIA F3C engine would this be ported diffent?? in what way would this be diffent any one know?

seem to me alot is cosmetic and just a little diffent yet really its the same as we already have like the OS 55 limited looks very nice but just cosmetic and has 2010 over it what is out of date now we are in 2011

but like others say there is bigger about to hit the market if we need this rather than just cosmetic change

In 3D engine runs balls to the walls 24/7. In FAI the engine runs practically at 2 speeds, hover around 11-12K and all out. It is extremely inportant that the engine is swiss watch smooth at hover. This is where the porting is diferent.

For 3D, the exhaust timing and intake porting can be more agressive and give away midrange. For the same reason the FAI engine may have less exhaust timing or diferent shape exhaust, and better distribution on the transfer ports for smoother and torquier mid.

Did they do that? We'll have to wait til we see pictures of the sleeves and crankshafts. Crankcases would be identical.

It would be interesting to see what the reports are on the F3C engine. If the reports are good, I would bet it will be a goos seller for them.
