mCP X is $179 Not a bad price. Just not for me I never did become a hot dog heli pilot barely proficient. I just miss not having a quick little grab and go heli to fly anytime anywhere. I am even considering going backwards to the honeybeeFP they are in stock Around $100 RTF.

Tryan,
The HBFP was what did it for me. Youll probably outgrow it quickly but itll be fun while you keep it. And youll probably get most of your investment back. Win Win.

Youll probably outgrow it quickly but
yep. there in lyes the Paradox--- once you go "collective pitch" going back to "fixed pitch" doesn't cut the mustard for long. Mind you, I'm not talking bout "Crazy 3D' but just the capability or the possibility of doing more. You don't have to do it----but just know you can if you want to

I'm rambling Brad, How you doing ? tryan, what are you going to do ?

Doug,
Just working hard. Keeping the border clear is alot of work. I feel like i havent slept in months. Took my boy to an RC Car race track today. He likes it so i bought him a car. He has a Traxxas rustler. Its got descent speed. Plenty for him. It was wild seeing 1/8 scale buggies flying through the air at 60mph. Still its not for me. Some of those guys have 2000 dollars in their cars. Hope the boy doesnt get any ideas. I can only afford one expensive hobby.

Thanks for keepin an eye on the borders Brad ! 99 percent of americans will not understand your sacrifice, but we can all sleep better knowing that you are there.

There are two Mexicans who have been lost in the desert for weeks, and they're at death's door (which is just outside Guadalajara).

As they stumble on, hoping for salvation in the form of an oasis or something similar, they suddenly spy, through the heat haze, a tree, off in the distance.

As they get closer, they can see that the tree is draped with rasher upon rasher of bacon. There's smoked bacon, crispy bacon, life-giving juicy nearly- raw bacon, all sorts.

"Hey, Pepe" says the first bloke (Don Pedro). "ees a bacon tree!!! We're saved!!!"

"You're right, amigo!" says Pepe.

So Pepe goes on ahead and runs up to the tree salivating at the prospect of food. But as he gets to within five feet of the tree there's the sound of machine gun fire, and he is shot down in a hail of bullets.

His friend quickly drops down on the sand, and calls across to the dying Pepe. "Pepe!! Pepe!! Que pasa hombre?"

With his dying breath Pepe calls out.... "Ugh, run, amigo, run!! ees not a Bacon Tree"

.
.
.
."ees... a....
Ham bush"

Brad,
I was at the same point in my life years ago with my 2 sons. We went to an r/c car race on dirt and it was a defining moment in life for me and my sons. They drove the cars, I built them and set them up each week for the races. We had a great time and connected in many ways.... Spend what ever it takes and go enjoy the time with your son. He will be 16 soon and hate everything and your going to wonder what happened. Then they start telling you about all the fun things you did with them when they get in their 20's... It is a good investment in memories even if it's 2 grand.....
We ran r/c 10 cars on dirt 6 nites a week and carpet on sundays, it was a great time in my life looking back now and the right thing to do.

Tom..... No "D" flying....

I kinda can't believe that Esky is not getting into the low end 3ch market with Gyro helis.
I already have 3 and just got another even smaller one. 3 out of the 4 are Symas. Syma was/is fighing with Esky over the bigger 4ch coax market (I think Esky 4ch coaxes are still better than what Syma has but never owned a Syma).

I fly my 3ch symas more than my MSR lately. #1 cause I don't fly more than 1-2 flights at a time and #2, they are as stable as an mcX and basically disposable at $30 each.

I wonder if Esky makes other brands in their factory and just re-labels them?
Whats this Honey Bee Cool and Honey Bee Prince?
Oh wait, they have an Esky Nano 4ch coax that looks like an McX
