Hello I am currently flying relatively calmly by that I mean no flips or rolls I am flying a x50b. My question is do I have to have any addition equipment ie a governor to do basic rolls and flips.

no, you do NOT need a governor to do rolls or flips, or any kind of basic aerobatics. What you DO need is to learn good collective management.

Also you need to have your helicopter set up properly. You need a good headspeed and plenty of pitch, not just positve and negative but cyclic as well.

+1 on collective management and no governor. Governors are nice, but not an absolute necessity.

WTF is that? You don't want to join a club like that anyway, what a bunch of elitist pricks. Probably clubs where there are a bunch of bored old farts that stand around and gossip like hens more than fly.

+ 1 on the balls
