I ran across a guy that was selling a old GMP Jet Ranger Fuse at a swap meet awhile ago. I did not have enough left when I saw it to pick it up but hoping the guy will be at one of the next swap meets I go to.

My question is as it was designed for the old Cobra series do you think one of the modern 50 size helis would work in it?

Thank in adavnce if anyone can help out.

Yes!!!
the 60 size fuses of yesterday, are now the size of the 50 size machines of today. i had one of those gmp jetrangers with a 50 powered nexus in it.

you may runito an issue withthe tail housing for the tail rotor. the neck where the housing is attatched to the boom is quite narrow. the gmp t/r geabox was very tiny and made for a wire drive to pass thru so there is going to be questionable space for a boom housing a belt drive or even a carbon/metal tt drive. pick your machine carefully. i would suggest a set of the century scale mechs. they use a wire drive.

drive a rotary, fly a rotorcraft
