I'm using a HV 14S capible BEC to maintain the proper voltages for a 10S set up. My question is, can I mount this bec directly next to the RX? It would make for much easier mounting if this is possibe.

Thanks

It might work, but I wouldn't chance it. Switching BECs can be electronically noisy. No sense in making it harder for the Rx than it has to be.

WRT, 2.4, it depends on the frequency signature of the noise. Yes, 2.4 is better than 72, but unless you know the strength and frequency profile of the noise coming off your BEC, its just a guess as to whether or not it will work. As I said, sure it might be fine, might even pass range check. But why make it harder for the Rx than it has to be?

What's your mounting situation? Which model? Can you post some pics?
