Hey guys looking for advice here. I have severe wag on the tail and sometimes she will kick to the right a full 90 degrees at random. I had a 401 clone on it earlier and was able to get it to hold to some extent (flyable) but I changed the gyro to a CSM ICG400 and went through the calib. settings and the problem got worse. I put the clone back on there and its still bad and no way flyable:

I boot the gyro with the engine off and everything behaves great
Start the engine to idle and still in good shape
Spool up and the servo starts acting up and jittering
Set it down on the ground and the servo arm is still jittering
Shut the bird down and the problem goes away
Problem is aggrivated at higher head speeds

Tail assembly seems ok
Start shaft doesnt bind
(havent checked the belt teeth yet)
Head is smooth with no bent shafts
Motor mount is tight

Please dont take this the wrong way but you're getting what you're paying for as far as gyro's go.

I know the CSM 400 is an older Gyro but a proven design. I threw on the clone just to see if there was a chance the gyro was the problem. I have a few of these clones on other birds and they arent mini g's but they still do pretty good. With that being said, the conditions havent improved or gotten worse with the change in gyro. The odds of 2 gyros back to back being bad is pretty high.

Any gain adjustment doesnt seem to have an effect either
