in referance to the servo arms, how far is the balls from center of servo on your 50 size helis, mine are about 12mm and i have an issue with geometry, you know getting that blue light at set up perameters.it is binding in the blue, maybe too much throw?

Yes it means you have too much throw for the proper resolution. Move the balls in one hole and try again, and you should be ok.

What do you mean with binding in the blue? Did you move your stick so far that you got the blue light? If yes than it's simply wrong. You are supposed to get a blue light at exactly 6 deg of cyclic and not move the stick till you get a blue light. If you don't have a blue light at 6 deg then your geometry is not perfect.

Try putting ball on the servowheels further in. Align have good wheels for the FLB option. Or you also could use shorter balls on your swashplate. It is of great importance that you set it at 6 deg cyclic the beast has to know were 6 deg are to regulate properly, that does not mean that you will only have 6 deg cyclic in flight! One of the next steps in the setup menu will let you adjust a cyclic ring, try to get the max without your swash binding, that will give the beast the possibility to use max trows to stabelise. Hope this helps. Regards Pete

align wheels

i am using align wheels,i guess the way the 3d plus is set up i need to go in further on the wheels,i am going to try some small wheels and see if that works.

problem solved

i used stock wheels that are half the size as align wheels, and i had my fbl head backwards, when the swash came up it pushed the blades to negative,i swapped that and now get a blue light in each perameter.
thank's

wow

i thought it flew good before,it is solid, flips are insane, guys set this up just like the instructions and go fly.i can't believe it will do what it does with such a small amount of input, smaller wheels too.
it took me about an hour to get familur with the programming, now it's a breeze

Most problems are due to setup becasue people just do not take the time to READ! This unit is bulletproof , if you stick to the manual step by step read and understand it, then it is going to fly very well for sure, even on the first flight. I have setup about 8 on diffent helis and they all flew very good from the first flight. Good that you did it, enjoy. Reagrds Pete
