One wrong move by one heli, and there would have been a Domino effect.

Yeah, the video is pretty old, but I thought my heli friends on RR would enjoy it. I would like to see some electrics too!

I remember seeing that before. Thanks for bringing up.
I'm thinking this needs to be beat this year.
Actually quite surprised it hasn't been.
Really cool, like a swarm of bees.

It would be chaotic (pun intended), to see most piro-flips on the deck.

There's easily been more than that at previous IRCHA's
I've been there, seen them.

Reno R/C Fun Fly circa late 80's there was actually a Guiness record set complete with all the preapprovals required from Guiness, appropriate documentation and submission. As best I can recollect there were about 30 helis inverted simulateously for two or three minutes. I do remember Curtis Youngblood was one of the pilots as was Alan and maybe Danny Szabo.

I had also heard that about two years later, the record was broken at another fun fly....somewhere...

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

You sure that was late 80`s

Alan is only 25, that would make him about 4 years old then

My time frame could be off somewhat. Alan Sr and I were on the roof of my RV trying to fix a broken vent so I know thwe Zsabo's were there. Alan Jr and Danny were young, but I don't remember their exact age. But, they were there. I was merely trying to point out that there was a real, live Guiness record set at that fun fly. Sorry that got lost in a time frame issue.

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

would be fun to see how may 250's we could have hovering inverted at the same time.

especially if they all had the same canopy
